In Home Private Lessons and Evaluations
Enjoy the efficacy and clarity of one-on-one training and my undivided attention to you and your dog in the comfort of your home, or anywhere you feel training is needed like at your office, or a public place.
Private lessons are a great way to evaluate your training needs and goals, as well as your dog’s behavior and temperament. Here are some great needs that in-home private lessons will meet:
- “I have new puppy and I need help!” Common puppy behaviors include: housetraining, crate training, biting, destructive chewing, jumping up, walking on leash, etc…
- “I just adopted a dog from shelter and I need help!” We can get all of your questions answered that are specific to you and your dog to ensure a long and happy life together.
- “My dog and I need some basic obedience training and I don’t want to attend a group class/class doesn’t fit with my schedule.” We can take all of the basic commands covered in class and get them covered in three private lessons. Enjoy the benefit of training in your home and the one-on-one coaching and attention from the pro.
- “My adult dog has developed some behavioral issues and I am seeking professional guidance.” I work with all types of people and dogs and am comfortable with many different types of behavioral challenges such as aggression, anxiety and even baffling quirky behaviors. If your dog does it, I’ve probably worked with dozens of other dogs that do the same thing.
- “My dog has food allergies/digestive sensitivities and we don’t want to keep feeding this prescription diet from the vet.” Let’s sit down and go through your dog’s food history. A lot of times people have the experience of having tried everything, when actually there are many other options that you just may not have been told about.
- “My dog gets chronic hot spots, ear infections, flaky skin, weepy eyes and licks his paws.” Often a food allergy or hormonal imbalance. Can you believe a lot of vets might not know about this? It’s true. Listen to the November 4th, 2009 Episode of The Dog Talk Show on the show’s website or on iTunes!
